The first light in the StarPlane network was transmitted successfully between UvA-VU, UvA-Leiden and VU-Leiden links. Some network tests have been running between the DAS-3 hosts. For more details, please click here.

The WebServices interfaces of StarPlane Management Plane have been developing. Those interfaces interact not only with DRAC but also with the applications running on the DAS-3 clusters. The first stable software release is expected in June.

The researchers from UvA, SURFnet and Nortel started on building the Phase1 StarPlane testbed which has DRAC software installed on production server. They also studied the WSDL file of DRAC WebServices to design interfaces to DRAC.
